Hi Brenda! I’m so glad that your pup love these treats! As for the problem you are having, there isn’t actually a problem. There are zero preservatives in them and they are made with fresh fruit and fresh ingredients, so they have a shelf life. The BEST way to avoid this is storing them in the freezer. They will last for months, and you can take out a few days worth at a time, and let them thaw in the fridge. They’ll last a lot longer, and you won’t have any issues with mold. xx

My dog has liver problems and these are perfect for him. Very ea d y to make and he loves them. I do have one issue, I keep them refrigerated but within 2 1/2 weeks they start to have mold on them. What causes that and what can I do? Wonderful treat I just need to fi d out how to correct this problem. Thank you so much.

Hi Brittany! Can your dog have regular flour, or almond flour? The egg is there for binding and moisture, but you swap in some applesauce or a bit of mashed banana. Beyond that, I’d ask your vet, just to be on the safe side so your pup doesn’t get sick.
