Turned out great! I didn’t have any almonds but I did have almond extract and I added a smidge of that to the streusel. SO YUM!

I used 1/4 more butter in the streusel, it seemed drier to me…is that ok, they are in the oven baking right now.

I’m used to the yogurt and bananas in the banana muffin recipe, will this be a different texture than those?

Hi Em, dried cherries will work just fine. The muffins will be slightly different, that’s all 🙂 You can rehydrate them in hot water, if you like, but you can also just toss dried cherries into the batter and go on about your day.
