Dinner Divas Weekly Menu Plan: Week 68

dinner divas week 68Welcome back to another week of Dinner Divas!  I can’t believe it’s August already.  We are cruising through summer so quickly, it’ll be time to start digging out winter clothes before we know it.  Let’s be honest, these days, winter clothes mean long pants.  This week, we have a terrific menu for you.  We have everything from chicken fingers and potato salad to pulled pork.  I have my eye on that dessert, too.  Don’t forget about my Blueberry Bourbon BBQ sauce.  It’ll make your ribs sing! (disclaimer: they won’t actually sing)

Make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss a single recipe!

Here’s how it works: Every Friday morning, a new menu plan will be delivered to your email. It consists of 5 dinner options, plus 2 extras. Those two extras could be side dishes, dessert, drinks, etc. The Dinner Divas weekly menu plans feature (mostly) healthy, seasonal foods that don’t take all day to prepare. Getting the weekly menu delivered to your inbox on Friday morning gives you the chance to make your shopping list and get organized for the week ahead. I’d love to hear from you & see your creations! Post a pic using #DinnerDivas and tag @pookspantry! I hope this weekly menu plan provides inspiration and makes life a little easier… one meal at a time.

DINNER DIVAS WEEKLY MENU 68

Starting off the week, we have Pizza Quesadillas from My Imperfect Kitchen.  This would be a great dinner to start the week.  Quick, easy and tasty!

Next is Pimento Cheese Potato Salad, Crispy Chicken Tenders and Potato Biscuits from Pook’s Pantry (me!).  You are getting 3 recipes in one!  Actually 4.  There is a quick recipe for a spicy honey that goes with the chicken tenders.  I have to admit that I ate that spicy honey on everything.  It is addicting.

Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork from Comfortably Domestic is the perfect midweek summer meal.  No heating up the kitchen or standing in front of the grill, just throw it in the slow cooker and come back later in the day.  Those are the meals I need more of in my life.

Low Carb Lasagna with Cauliflower Noodles from Pastry Chef Online is an excellent recipe for those living the low carb lifestyle.  Swap out the pasta for homemade cauliflower noodles and voila!  Lasagna for dinner.

Whole 30 Taco Zucchini Boats from The Speckled Palate end the week.  I’ve made a similar recipe before and let me tell you, these are delicious.  Perfect for a low carb dinner, so you can save your carbs for the next recipe…

First up on our extras is this beautiful No Bake Lemon Mousse Tart with Pretzel Crust from Comfortably Domestic.  No bake means your kitchen won’t get steamy and the cool lemon mousse is super refreshing on warm summer days.  This tart is making it’s way to my table very, very soon.

Last, but not least, is one of my favorite recipes.  My Blueberry Bourbon BBQ Sauce is ridiculously easy to make and goes so well with ribs, you may never go back to regular bbq sauce.
