Dinner Divas Weekly Menu Plan: Week 76

https://www.pookspantry.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Caramel-Apple-Cupcake-w-Apple-Cider-Buttercream.mp4

The Dinner Divas weekly menu is back with lots of fall goodness. We are gearing up for Halloween, so be sure to check back every week for ghost and goblin treats.  Check out my Halloween Pinterest board for some fun party ideas.

Make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss a single recipe!

Here’s how it works: Every Friday morning, a new menu plan will be delivered to your email. It consists of 5 dinner options, plus 2 extras. Those two extras could be side dishes, dessert, drinks, etc. The Dinner Divas weekly menu plans feature (mostly) healthy, seasonal foods that don’t take all day to prepare. Getting the weekly menu delivered to your inbox on Friday morning gives you the chance to make your shopping list and get organized for the week ahead. I’d love to hear from you & see your creations! Post a pic using #DinnerDivas and tag @pookspantry! I hope this weekly menu plan provides inspiration and makes life a little easier… one meal at a time.

We are starting off the week with my Lentil Soup.  Lentil soup is a classic for a reason.  It is an easy soup to make, it’s full of vegetables and it’s delicious.  It is satisfying, but does not leave you feeling heavy.  If you are a soup lover like me, you’ll want to save this easy recipe for those evenings when a bowl of soup makes the perfect supper.

Next are these Apple Cider Pork Chops from Comfortably Domestic.  These are a 30 minute meal, so they’re perfect for busy weeknights.

Pastry Chef Online has our next recipe this week. Black Rice Risotto with Butternut Squash is the perfect Halloween dinner.

The Speckled Palate has our next dinner this week. Lemon Shrimp Pasta is easy enough for a weeknight dinner, yet it feels like a special occasion meal.

Finally, we wrap up the week with our last recipe from this month’s guest blogger, Foodie with Family. Her Cheater Sesame Chicken is better than takeout.  This is great for a Friday night at home with a movie!

We have two delicious fall desserts this week. The first one is my Caramel Apple Cupcake with Apple Cider Buttercream.  Easily one of my favorite cupcakes, it is bursting with the flavors of fall. (see video above!)

Finally, Comfortably Domestic has a Classic Apple Pie.  You’ve heard me refer to the “Pie Jedi” before, she is a master at pie making.  Her apple pie is no exception.
