Can you believe it’s December? This year is flying by so fast, I feel like I can barely keep up. The weekly menu plan can be a real lifesaver during this time of the year. I for one, am just trying to keep my head above water. Do you feel like that sometimes too? While I absolutely love Christmas and this time of the year, it can be very challenging as well. I’ve been catering party after party this year and it’s been a wonderful blessing for my bank account, but I’m running on empty some days. Which is why a weekly menu plan can be a really helpful thing to have in place when schedules are busy.
Here’s how it works: Every Friday morning, a new menu plan will be delivered to your email. It consists of 5 dinner options, plus 2 extras. Those two extras could be side dishes, dessert, drinks, etc. The Dinner Divas weekly menu plan features quick and easy recipes. Getting the weekly menu delivered to your inbox on Friday morning gives you the chance to make your shopping list and get organized for the week ahead.
Make sure you are subscribed so you never miss a recipe! I hope this weekly menu plan provides inspiration and makes life a little easier… one meal at a time.
Weekly Menu Plan
Our first recipe of the week is Sheet Pan BBQ Chicken Nachos from The Speckled Palate. This is a fun, casual dinner to kick off the week. Any recipe that starts with a sheet pan, I’m in.
Next is Instant Pot Meatball Stroganoff from My Imperfect Kitchen. If you have received an Instant Pot recently (or maybe you’re hoping to receive one soon!), this is a great place to start using your new pot.
Chestnut Stuffed Pork Loin Roast from Pook’s Pantry is our midweek meal. It may look a bit intimidating, but trust me, it isn’t that difficult to do. This may be more of a weekend or holiday meal for most of us, unless you’re the ambitious type.
Southwest Steak Stir Fry from Comfortably Domestic is a quick and easy weeknight dinner. Perfect for those nights when you need something satisfying and fast.
Finally, Friday is pizza night and Pastry Chef Online does not disappoint. She has Grandma Pie with Vodka Sauce for us. If you’re not familiar with Grandma pie, it’s a rectangular pizza that you can make on a sheet pan and it’s thinner than a Sicilian pie. There is usually sauce ladled on top as well. If you’re unfamiliar with it, let me tell you from the heart, you are missing out on one of life’s greatest food pleasures!
On to the sweet stuff
This week, we have two sweet treats. In keeping with the season, the first is a beautiful Gingerbread Cake from Comfortably Domestic. This lovely bundt would be a great dessert for your holiday table.
Finally, we wrap up the week with Butter Pecan Biscotti from Pook’s Pantry. These biscotti were born out of my love for the ice cream flavor. They are one of my most popular posts this time fo the year and that chocolate drizzle puts them over the top!
