I made this recipe today and both dogs loved the ‘cookies’. They couldn’t hardly wait till the cookies cooled off. I give them an after dinner treat in their ‘treat balls’ breaking up treats and putting inside the open spaces. I wanted to get away from whole wheat and wheat flour dog treats (can’t believe wheat is the first ingredient) and additives. One of my two dogs kept itching and scratching. I know she doesn’t have fleas, so just trying something different for treats. Plus being home made I know what went in them.

Colleen, there is quite a bit of sugar that your pup doesn’t need.

Hi Stan, yes you can. The texture may be slightly drier. Also, that is correct – no PB with xylitol.
