My dog loves these treats. I find it easier to roll out the dough, bake it like a pizza crust and cut treats after they have cooled. Faster and easier to work with.

I’ve made this recipe twice. I added a little peanut butter, a couple of tablespoons. My dogs love the stuff! I cut them into squares, about an inch or a little more. They are a big hit with all three of my dogs, although they are mainly for our older dog who doesn’t like the really crunchy ones any more. Hard for him to chew them. He gives me a big ol’ tail wag when he gets these!

Hi Shannon! Carob chips are safe for dogs, in moderation. I’d add just a little, because they can cause tummy issues in some pups – it can act as a laxative. Just fair warning 😉

My dogs love these. I do have a question, are they supposed to have a puffy air pocket in the middle after baking or did I do something wrong??
