EASY GINGERBREAD BISCOTTI RECIPE

Full of warm spices, these Gingerbread Biscotti are perfect for holiday cookie exchanges as well as homemade gifts for friends and family.

Ingredients:

all-purpose flour

baking soda

sea salt

baking powder

ground cinnamon

ground ginger

ground allspice

ground nutmeg

ground cloves

Preheat oven to 350°F / 180 °C / Gas mark 4.  Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, cloves and black pepper. Set aside.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine butter, sugars and eggs. Then add vanilla, molasses and flour mixture.

Form dough into 2 loaves and bake 30 minutes. Cool slightly, slice into 1/2" slices, then return to oven 10 minutes.
