– olive oil – egg – panko breadcrumbs – milk – kosher salt – black pepper – onion powder – dried basil – garlic – parmesan – ground beef – fresh parsley

The first step is to add everything (except for the ground beef and olive oil) to a large bowl and mix to combine.

Next, gently mix in half of the ground beef until the mixture looks fairly uniform. Then, mix in remaining ground beef.

Use a 2 ounce scoop to portion meatballs – you should have about 10. Double the recipe and stash some in the freezer for later!

Then bake in a hot oven (425°F / 220°C / Gas mark 7) for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned all over.




Sprinkle them generously with finely grated parmesan and maybe a bit of gooey mozzarella for extra cheesy goodness.

If you are serving them with pasta, consider a dollop of ricotta cheese with them. This makes it extra creamy!
