GARLIC BUTTER LANGOSTINO RECIPE

Quick and easy enough for a weeknight dinner, or an excellent appetizer for cocktail parties or special occasions.

This Garlic Butter Langostino recipe is incredibly easy and versatile, serve it as is or over pasta or rice for a more filling meal.

Ingredients:

langostinos

unsalted butter

garlic

flour

lemon juice

chicken stock

kosher salt

black pepper

flat-leaf Italian parsley

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour until it forms a paste (roux).  Cook for 3 - 4 minutes.

Add chicken stock and lemon juice while whisking constantly, then add garlic, salt and pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Add thawed and drained langostinos to the sauce, then cook for 1 - 2 minutes to warm langostino. Remove from heat, add chopped parsley and serve!

This recipe would make a fantastic appetizer. You could serve this as a special occasion appetizer for Christmas Eve or New Years Eve.
