Ingredients

  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup pure pumpkin purée
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup blueberries fresh or frozen & drained
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F / 177°C / Gas mark 4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add oats to the bowl of a food processor.
  • Let machine run for 2 - 3 minutes, until oats are almost flour consistency with a few big pieces left.
  • Add cinnamon and coconut oil. Pulse a few times to combine.
  • Add pumpkin purée, egg and blueberries. Mix to combine until dough looks uniform.
  • Scoop with small cookie scoop and drop on lined sheet pan.
  • Flatten the tops with your fingers (wetting them a bit helps to keep it from sticking).
  • Bake for 20 - 25 minutes, rotating halfway through.
  • Cool completely before giving to your dog.

Notes

I used a small cookie scoop that holds 2 teaspoons. If you use a scoop that is either larger or smaller, your yield will vary.
To make these WITHOUT a food processor, just stir everything together in a large bowl and proceed with the recipe. The texture will not be as smooth, but the recipe will still work.
