- 1 cup blueberry syrup for drinks
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 cups cold filtered water
- Additional sugar if you prefer a sweeter lemonade
- Ice or frozen blueberries for serving
Make blueberry syrup and set aside to cool.
In a pitcher, combine ice, 1 cup blueberry syrup, 1 cup fresh lemon juice and 4 cups water.
Stir to combine and serve over more ice or frozen blueberries.
Garnish with mint, lemon slices or fresh blueberries.
I use a lot of ice in my glass, so I make the lemonade a little stronger. If you prefer less ice, you can add up to an additional 2 cups of water, if you like the lemonade a bit weaker.
If you are straining the blueberry syrup instead of blending, save those cooked blueberries for yogurt, muffins, ice cream or pancakes!
