A Practical Gift Guide for 2020

This year has been a doozy. With many of us staying home this Christmas, this years gift guide is filled with things that we can actually use. And since most of us will be cozied up in the house, we may as well bake some gingerbread biscotti.

Don’t worry, this list isn’t filled with things like new socks, although I do love a pair of good socks, but rather things that won’t sit in a closet for the next 6 months.

A gift guide for the year none of us could imagine

If you asked anyone last year what they thought the year would bring, NO ONE would have guessed toilet paper shortages and social distancing.

This year looks a bit different than any other and with that in mind, I’ve put together a list of items that we could all use. Some items are specific gifts for coffee lovers or dog owners, etc.

But some, like the only face mask I’ll ever wear (also, a sentence I never thought I’d say) are suitable for literally everyone.

No one needs more stuff that’ll just sit in their closet. I think this year has shown us that. Instead, let’s focus on gifts that we actually want or could use.

One of my personal favorites on the list is Audible. I love audiobooks and with this, you can take your book anywhere. Listen to a novel while you’re doing dishes or going for a walk around the block.

So, whether you need a gift with a little humor or perhaps for someone who wants to take a cooking class from the safety and comfort of their own kitchen, I’ve got you covered.

Have a wonderful holiday season, stay safe and healthy!
